- The sand and gravel in this area are red, clearly reflecting the distinctive coloration of a volcanic island rich in iron. This red hue, caused by volcanic gravel similar to that found at Goryodaki to the north, suggests that Ojika Island was once volcanic in origin. This location is more suited for enjoying scenic views rather than swimming. It is about a 20-minute bicycle ride from the port terminal.
