- The samurai residence gate, which was moved from Nagoya Castle 400 years ago, still remains at the ryokan.
The ryokan was established in 1953 after acquiring the former villa of a paper wholesaler.
The samurai residence gate as well as the rooms are historical buildings designated as tangible cultural properties.
The newly opened villa with an ocean view offers a different picture.
