- The Chikugo River Lift Bridge is a movable bridge over the Chikugo River, the largest river in Kyushu,with a total length of 506m.
It is the oldest existing elevating movable bridge in Japan.
During the daytime, the bridge is enjoyed as a promenade, and at night, the illuminated bridge floats on the surface of the water, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
In the evening, the bridge is illuminated by the setting sun, creating a spectacular view.
