- Built in the Edo Period, the Kishiro Residence prospered as a wakihonjin (lodging house for samurais) in Shinjo Village for samurais who travelled to and from Izumo. It is very large with 6 rooms in 3 rows. The building has been designated an Important Cultural Property of Shinjo Village.
