Description: This samurai residence, believed to have been constructed between the early and mid-19th century, once belonged to a mid-ranking samurai family. It was designated a National Important Cultural Property in 1986. Following preservation and restoration by Nagano City, the site was opened to the public in 1992.

Visitors can view features such as the nagaya-style gate, the partially two-storey main residence, a retirement dwelling, and an earthen storehouse. The grounds also include a garden that incorporates distant mountain scenery, a vegetable plot, and a small spring-fed stream.
