Description: Covering approximately 28.5 hectares, this expansive park preserves the historic grounds of Kanazawa Castle.

Within the park stand several Important Cultural Properties of Japan, including the Ishikawa Gate, the Sanjikken Nagaya (Sanjikken Longhouse), and the Tsurumaru Storehouse. The Hishi Yagura Turret and the Gojikken Nagaya (Gojikken Longhouse) have been faithfully reconstructed to reflect their original appearance, along with the Hashizume‑mon Gate, once regarded as the castle’s most prestigious entrance.

Sannomaru Square and Shinmaru Square provide open spaces for relaxation and host a variety of events throughout the year.
