Description: This modernist building, constructed in 1935, is a four-story reinforced concrete structure designed to be earthquake- and fire-resistant. It was designated as a nationally registered tangible cultural property in 2015, the 80th anniversary of the prefectural office’s completion. In the same year, to commemorate its cultural property registration, a rooftop garden was created on part of the main building’s rooftop, which is open to the public for a limited time each year.
