- The Noshiro City Old Council Hall was built in 1950 with the construction of the government office building.
It was designed by the staff at that time.
At first glance, it appears to be similar to the neighboring government building, but it is entirely made of wood.
The lights hanging from the ceiling are from that time and remained unbroken even after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
It was designated as a registered tangible cultural property in 2007.
