Sendai Science Museum has the following three main exhibition halls: Natural History, Science and Technology, and Science and Technology in Daily Life.

Reference materials regarding men of letters, such as Bansui Doi and Toson Shimazaki, and their works as associated with Miyagi Prefecture, are proudly displayed.

The works by Japanese artists housed in the museum. Sculptures and crafts dating from the Meiji Period and after which have some connection to Miyagi Prefecture or the Tohoku region.

This is the oldest western architecture in existence in Miyagi prefecture. Introduces the life style of ordinary people in the Sendai area, and exhibits the materials related to war and peace.

People get relaxed and recharged in this park, centered in downtown Sendai. On weekends, various events are held at its open-air music hall.

Nanakita Park is located nearby Izumichuo station and extends along Nanakita river.There are some play equipments.

This is the biggest park in Sendai, where various works of sculpture are displayed, some by Sato Churyo. You can see pheasants, Japanese bush warblers, and squirrels in this park.

Escorted tours to see the brewing process of whisky and free tasting of various whiskies are available. Free tasting at the hall.Shopping-only visitors are also welcome.

The 56 rice paddies covering 4.1 ha were selected in July 1999 as one of Japan's 100 best groups of terraced paddies.
