Hakodate Civic Arts Hall is a unique cone-shaped building located near Goryokaku Park.

The building was reconstructed based on photographs and excavation surveys to its original purely Japanese-style Taisho Period (1912-1926) appearance using a Shoin-zukuri style and thatched roof.
