Sendai Science Museum has the following three main exhibition halls: Natural History, Science and Technology, and Science and Technology in Daily Life.

Reference materials regarding men of letters, such as Bansui Doi and Toson Shimazaki, and their works as associated with Miyagi Prefecture, are proudly displayed.

The works by Japanese artists housed in the museum. Sculptures and crafts dating from the Meiji Period and after which have some connection to Miyagi Prefecture or the Tohoku region.

This is the oldest western architecture in existence in Miyagi prefecture. Introduces the life style of ordinary people in the Sendai area, and exhibits the materials related to war and peace.
