Location information
- Name
- Former Ryotei Kaneyu
- Address
- Yanagimachi, Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture
- Description
- The current former Ryotei Kinyu was built in 1879 by Yusuke Kanaya II. Although it ceased operations in September 2008, it was opened as a tourist exchange facility in 2013, and is now a popular tourist facility representing Noshiro City. The luxurious and elegant ryotei restaurant uses an abundance of natural Akita cedar, and the 9-meter-high wooden ceiling panels from a single piece of natural Akita cedar are a must-see. Recommended for those who wish to capture a traditional Japanese scene. The many rooms can be used for different scenes.
