Description: This 3-kilometer-long walkway connects Sakurajima Lava Beach Park and Torishima Observation Point. Constructed on the lava fields formed during the Taisho eruption of 1914, it has been selected as one of Japan’s 100 Best Walks. The path offers views of rocky shores covered in hardened lava, as well as the Kagoshima City landscape. It is a popular route for jogging and cycling, and the rocky areas provide year-round fishing opportunities.
