- Ryuganji Temple is a small wooden temple built inside an enormous rock cave. In the inner sanctum of the temple floats a triad of floating wooden Buddhas, said to have been built by Gyoki Priest in just one night. The three buddhas have been designated as National Important Cultural Assets and the log steps called ‘Kizahashi’ only exist here at Ryuganji Temple and Ise Jingu Shrine.
