- Located at the foot of Komekami Mountain in Ajimu Town, Usa City, this site features columnar giant stones, each standing 2 to 3 meters tall, aligned in a deliberate arrangement and pointing skyward. Various theories exist regarding their origin—whether they are ritual relics, a prototype of a torii gate, or Buddhist stone scriptures. Similar stones can also be found in the surrounding area, attracting attention as a spiritual or mysterious “power spot.” Each March, the annual “Giant Stone Festival” is held, featuring a mountain climbing event on Komekami Mountain.
