- Takkiri Valley is a gorge where pure water flows over a massive monolith formed by Yabakei lava. The approximately 2-kilometer path leading to the 27-meter-high Otobi Waterfall at the end of the valley features a rare water flow promenade, uncommon even nationwide. In spring, new greenery emerges; in summer, visitors can enjoy walking through the clear streams. In autumn, the valley is adorned with vivid red and yellow foliage, making it a popular hidden gem. The changing scenery throughout the four seasons brings delight and a sense of peace to visitors.
