- Nanase Dam is a multipurpose dam located upstream on the Nanase River in the Oita River system. It is the largest rock-fill dam in Oita Prefecture, standing approximately 92 meters tall and about 500 meters long. The entire dam lake can be viewed from the roadside station Notsuharu.
