- Selected for the Ministry of the Environment’s “Best Beach 100” list of top swimming sites, this scenic beach features a striking 515‑meter stretch of white sand and expansive views of the Unzen mountain range across the water—one of the finest coastal landscapes in the prefecture.
In front of the beach runs the Ariake Taco Road, where visitors can also see a giant octopus monument. The beach is easily accessed via the pedestrian bridge from Ariake Ripple Land.
