Name: The Old Morinaga Residence

Description: The architectural complex that spreads across the site consists of a residence and two storehouses, one to the north and one to the south. The residence is a single-story building with a gable roof, constructed in the Irimoya style with shingle tiles. It was built in the early Meiji period (1868-1889) and is believed to have undergone significant renovations afterward.

While preserving the building's exterior, the interior has been renovated, and it currently houses a specialized tea shop, a Nagashima traditional woven rug workshop, and a handicraft sales shop in the respective buildings.

*Note: Items inside may not be moved. Exterior photography is permitted, while interior photography requires negotiation with each shop. Interviews must be arranged by contacting the respective business owners.
