- Arita Porcelain Park is a unique attraction found only in Arita, the birthplace of Arita porcelain, which has fascinated European royalty and nobility since the 17th century and influenced ceramic traditions around the world. The first thing that catches your eye is the park’s symbol—the Zwinger Palace—an impressive reconstruction of the early 18th‑century German Baroque masterpiece. Inside the palace, works from the second export period, spanning the late Edo era to the Meiji era, are on display.
The facility also includes hands-on Arita ware workshops and is operated by a sake brewery, offering tours of its sake, shochu, and beer production facilities, as well as tastings and purchases of limited-edition brews. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by beautiful flowers and a rich cultural atmosphere.
