- Called “Tomo Shichikyo Ochi Iseki (literally meaning “the site in Tomo where 7 exiled lords stayed),” a cluster of 9 buildings that once prospered as Homeishu Breweries is preserved. In 1940, the site was designated an Historic Site in Hiroshima Prefecture. The residence building (Ota Residence) and Choso-tei were designated Important Cultural Properties in Japan in 1991.
