- Located in the Saidaiji district of Okayama City’s Higashi Ward—an area known for enjoying some of the highest numbers of sunny days in the prefecture—this orchard is a popular destination for fruit picking. Fed by the abundant waters of the Yoshii River, the expansive orchard spreads across gently sloping rural farmland. Grapes, pears, and persimmons are cultivated here, and a direct sales shop is available on site.
Filming is also permitted in the rice fields owned by the orchard’s proprietor. The sloping terrain, with its many hills and unpaved paths, provides a variety of scenic settings suitable for different filming scenes. Filming is also possible at the owner’s nearby residence. The entrance gate is clad in traditional Setouchi-style yakisugi (charred cedar), and the main house is a Japanese residence approximately 100 years old, featuring wooden fittings on the first floor.

Grapes: Mid-July to late October (cultivation from January to mid-July)
Pears: Early September to early November (cultivation from January to mid-July)
Persimmons: Early October to early November (cultivation from January to mid-July)
Rice fields: Late June (planting) to late October (harvest)
