- Serving as a transportation hub for the Saidaiji area, this terminal station provides bus connections to central Okayama and the Ushimado district. It becomes lively with commuters and students during morning and evening rush hours, while maintaining a relaxed suburban atmosphere at other times.
A building on the premises—now used as a rest area for bus drivers—was originally the station building of the Saidaiji Railway, which operated here more than 50 years ago. The site also includes a Ryobi Bus depot and maintenance facilities.
