- Built in 1962, the Tenjinyama Cultural Plaza, formerly known as the Okayama Prefectural General Cultural Center, was designed by Kunio Maekawa, whose experience includes working for Le Corbusier. The facility was renovated and reopened in 2005. The architecture features many of Maeda’s artistic designs, including the use of vivid colors.
