- Established in 1886 during the Meiji Period, the Abeyama Branch School closed in 1973.
Despite the passage of time, the building remains in remarkably solid condition. The classrooms and corridors have been preserved much as they were, and features such as the blackboards and wooden‑framed windows evoke the atmosphere of the era.
In spring, cherry blossoms bloom and vividly color the schoolyard. As the site is now rarely used, it is also well suited for extended filming projects
