Description: Said to be one of the Ankokuchi temples established by Ashikaga Takauji across various regions, its garden has been designated a national scenic spot. Designed in the karesansui (dry landscape) style by Kobori Enshū, who served as governor of Bichū, the garden is noted as an early example of Enshū-style gardens. Completed in the early Edo period (1603–1690), it retains features from the late Momoyama period (circa 1587–1600), making its preservation in original form particularly valuable.
