- Uno Port, located in the city center, is a vital hub for maritime traffic connecting the mainland and Shikoku. It serves as a gateway for ferries traveling to and from the islands of Shikoku and the Seto Inland Sea (including Naoshima, Teshima, and Shodoshima). These ferries play an integral role in the local area's lifestyle. Additionally, the port's large cruise ship terminal welcomes approximately 20 foreign cruise ships annually.
Since 2013, it has been one of the venues chosen for the Setouchi International Art Festival, an event featuring contemporary art set on the islands and within the port. Various art installations can be found throughout the area. In recent times, trendy restaurants, cafes, and shops have increased in number, making it an area where visitors can enjoy themselves all day long.
