- This is an atmospheric town covering approximately 18 hectares, located along the Katsuragi River, which flows north and south through the center of the city. It features many townhouses built from the mid-Edo period (1650-1750) to the early Showa period (1926-1945). The roads, moats, and drainage system depicted in a land survey map from the Kanpo era (1741-1744) are largely preserved.
