Name: Yumesakinomori Park

Description: Located in the Terra district of Yumesaki Town, Himeji City, this satoyama park spans approximately 180 hectares in the Seiban (Western Harima) region of southwestern Hyogo Prefecture. Centered around Tsuhoji Pond and surrounded by ridgelines about 300 meters above sea level, the park features a landscape rich in greenery and water.

The foothills around the main facilities are dominated by planted cedar and cypress forests, along with a notable stand of loblolly pine. Higher up the slopes and along the ridges, natural woodlands spread out, primarily composed of konara oak, abemaki oak, and Japanese red pine.

Around Tsuhoji Pond and the lower slopes, visitors can also find a variety of rare plants and insects, making the area an important habitat for local wildlife.
