Description: Built in 1941, this building was remodeled in 2006 while preserving the original materials. It is possible to see the beams and wooden framework that were hidden in the ceiling. You can also view Lake Biwa without any obstruction from the building, extending from Mount Ibuki to the Oumi Ohashi Bridge. The stone retaining walls for landslide prevention were constructed using stone masonry from the early Showa period.
