- Furukawa Art Museum was opened in November 1991 based on the fine art that late Furukawa Tamesaburo had collected in the prewar periods. The museum possesses approximately 2800 works of fine art of various kinds including paintings portraying beautiful women and an illustrated manuscript of medieval Europe.
