- The area which used to be an inn town. Has a row of old buildings built in the Edo era (1603–1868)and the Meiji era (1868–1912)on the street approximately 1 km long and can see the remnant of bygone days. There are 5 temples, a shrine and an abandoned hospital. Registered as a national important cultural asset in 2007. Near the town, there is the Taikobashi bridge, one of the largest bridges in Japan. Used shootings for samurai dramas and rural settings. The events are held a year. One is the town festival in June and the other is an ice candle festival in February.
