- This river flows through the Shinminato area on the seaside of Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, and is approximately 3.4 km long. Along the river, traditional townhouses line the banks, and fishing boats are tethered along both sides, creating a nostalgic port town atmosphere. More than ten unique bridges span the river, and tourist boats pass just beneath these bridges. On clear days, the Tateyama mountain range can be seen to the east.
