- This s a facility that serves as a hub for creating and disseminating regional culture, hosting various original plans and events. It is also well-known as an award-winning architectural structure by the Japan Institute of Architects, housing a theater, library, restaurant, and more. The facility includes a Carter Hall, designed with an acoustical plan in the style of the Berlin Philharmonic, where the balcony seats differ slightly in height for each seat, a multi-hall with multifunctional equipment such as a 35-panel multi-vision and a 250-inch large screen, an exhibition room where visitors can view artworks while descending from the observation floor via a slope, a learning zone with a fireplace, a Noh theater stage, and other facilities for cultural dissemination. In the evening, the place is illuminated, presenting a beautiful view of teahouses and theaters reflected in the water.
