- Located at an elevation of 700 meters on the slopes of Mount Amamizuyama, Daigonji Plateau is filled with lush greenery featuring beech forests, grasslands, and ponds, where the sounds of wild birds resonate.
A red-roofed barn, which was used until a few years ago, remains in a corner of the 'Echigo-Tsumari Daigonji Plateau Campground,' which offers accommodation facilities such as tent sites, cottages, and bungalows. The area surrounding the facilities began operating as a pasture tent site in the summer of 2023.
