- At an elevation of 313 meters, the summit offers a panoramic view of the Bunsui District and the Okowazu Bunsui, and on clear days, Sado Island and the Noto Peninsula can also be seen. The beech forest located at Kokujoji, the oldest temple in the prefecture, is valued as a 'rare beech forest remaining in lowland areas' and is designated as a natural monument by the prefecture. Additionally, visitors can enjoy autumn foliage along the Asahiyama Observatory trail and near the summit of Mount Kugami.
