- Description
- A grove of beech trees estimated to be about 90 years old, thriving in a corner of Matsunoyama. In the early Showa period, the beech trees were cleared away, leaving the mountain bare. However, the beech trees grew uniformly and formed a slender and beautiful posture, eventually earning the name "Bijinbayashi" or "Beautiful Forest." It has now become a popular tourist spot visited by many photography enthusiasts.
