- Located within the Sado-Yahiko-Yoneyama Quasi-National Park, this mountain is rich in biodiversity and is said to host most of the plant species found within the prefecture. Seven hiking routes are available.
The Lighthouse Trailhead route descends from near the summit and offers sweeping views of the Echigo Nanaura coastline, as well as Sado Island and Mount Yoneyama.
