Description: Naena-Taki, chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls, is an impressive sight with a 55-meter drop, emitting powerful splashes as it descends. It is a waterfall located on the Seki River, which flows on the border of Niigata and Nagano prefectures. Naena-Taki offers various beautiful views in its valley, but it is particularly popular during the spring when the melting snow brings a spectacular rush of water, and in the autumn when the surrounding landscape is adorned with beautiful fall foliage. It has earned the nickname "Jishin no Taki" (Earthquake Waterfall) due to the intense roar of the water descending from the falls, resonating through the surrounding forest as if an earthquake is occurring.
