- This stretch of coastline runs for roughly 50 kilometers, from Senkaku Bay to Hajikizaki. Shaped by the powerful winter waves of the Sea of Japan, its rugged cliffs and scattered offshore islets form a dramatic landscape often described as bold and distinctly masculine in character.
