- The real name is Ikeda Grape and Wine Laboratory, but it is nicknamed Wine Castle. See the storage area for the barrels of wine in the basement and the bottling process on the first floor. On the 3rd floor you can find Restaurant Tokachi, a restaurant run by the town. This is the birthplace of the wine that has won numerous awards in international wine festivals and put the town of Ikeda’s name on the map. Admission free.
