- The Tomioka Joint Government Office Building, completed in 2001, is a three-story steel-framed structure with one basement level. Its exterior design is inspired by the Tomioka Silk Mill, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
A large parking area for visitors is located in front of the building. In the courtyard stands a 6th-century keyhole-shaped burial mound with a horizontal stone chamber, designated as a cultural property by Tomioka City.
