- Description
- The sake brewery of Furukawa Sake Brewery is an old building constructed during the Keio era (1865–1868) to the early Showa period (1926–1941). Each section has its own distinct characteristics: the store along the road served as both a shop and a warehouse during the Meiji period (1868–1912). Additionally, the sake brewery at the back left, accessed through the gate, is an ancient earthen storehouse that retains the atmosphere of its establishment era. Furthermore, the stone warehouse made of Oya stone by the sea is a modern building from the early Showa period, and a deck on the second floor offers a panoramic view of the vast Pacific Ocean.
Beyond the architecture, numerous historical sake-making tools, old documents, and photographs remain and can also be used for filming.
