- This facility was newly opened in 2004. It incorporates innovative urban design elements, such as green space on the roof of the ground floor. There is a grassy square on the south side of the site facing the main road. The facility is situated in an open space on level ground.
Various trees and plants are landscaped in the pathway of the front square on the south side, which is well maintained.
The first-floor bookshelves are set against a sloping ceiling, with skylights throughout, creating an open and bright space. The table seen to the lower left is the reception counter. The design eliminates the use of columns.
The study room on the second floor allows a view of the first-floor bookshelves through glass. There is also a rest area that leads to an outdoor balcony and a rooftop garden. It is adaptable for cafes, restaurants, and various other situations.
The balcony space provides a view of the modern building's design. It exudes a similar atmosphere to research facilities and break areas in newspaper companies.
