- This is the hermitage where the painter-monk "Sesson", active during the Muromachi period(1336-1568), spent his later years. In front of the hermitage, there are weeping cherry trees and ancient plum trees, making it one of the famous cherry blossom viewing spots. Additionally, behind the hermitage, there is a bamboo grove that creates a serene atmosphere, giving you the feeling you have stepped back in time.
