Description: Known as the Dekoyashiki, four houses have preserved a centuries-old tradition of crafting papier-mâché dolls, papier-mâché masks, and Miharu horses. The wooden molds used for the dolls, passed down within each house, have been designated as important cultural properties by the prefecture.

The village within Takashiba Dekoyashiki, along with nearby cultural properties and local historical sites, is surrounded by rich natural beauty, including flowering trees. In spring, the Tenjin Couple Cherry Trees, estimated to be around 500 years old, bloom together in a breathtaking display.
