Description: Set within a landscape that preserves the charm of traditional satoyama countryside, the park features a 3,800-meter walking trail and open grassy areas for outdoor recreation. From here, visitors can enjoy sweeping views over the Yamagata Basin, with distant vistas of Mount Gassan and the Asahi Mountain Range, while at night the lights of Yamagata City create a beautiful cityscape.

The park also serves as an excellent filming location, offering wide-angle views of Yamagata City from relatively low elevation. Its extensive grounds include a suspension bridge, wooden and stone bridges, natural woodland areas, and untouched bamboo groves, making it suitable for scenes set in both contemporary and historical contexts. The site is easily accessible by car from the city center and is equipped with parking facilities.
