- In the past, this temple was moved to various locations by the Date clan as they changed their place of residence, before it finally settled in its current location when Lord Masamune moved to and started building the city of Sendai. The chashitsu (tea room) house stands serenely in a peaceful stroll garden, and you can see the three story pagoda reflecting itself on the lake. The Nioh-mon gate is designated as one of the City's important cultural artefacts.
