- Kokubuncho is the largest evening entertainment district in Tohoku. It is located in downtown Sendai, extending north to south between Jozenji-dori Ave. and Hirose-dori Ave. Nearly 3,000 restaurants and bars crowd within a 900×250m area. Many people flood to this area until late every night, especially during the weekend.
