- This is a bullet train stop that is a three-minute drive from "Shin-Hanamaki Station." The building has a retro atmosphere featuring red tiles, brick tiles, earthen walls, and plaster, all made with materials that are inspired by the local climate and culture. Inside the facility, materials related to the history and culture of the Hanamaki region are collected and exhibited and explained in the three fields of "archeology," "history," and "art and crafts". Additionally, various courses and experiential learning workshops are offered, making it a participation-type museum where one can enjoy learning.
